Rizwan joined the company from a background of textiles and the completion of MSc in Design and Marketing.
Life then changed course and Rizwan found himself caring for his terminally ill mother and after her passing away he felt an urge to help people who were going through similar experiences in life. This led to Rizwan joining the company as a Care Coordinator, which enabled him to help and support people as well as their families in improving their quality of life and make a positive contribution to the local community. At the same time Rizwan developed a hunger to develop not just an all-round knowledge of the care sector but also the additional knowledge of running a business.
Rizwan subsequently gained promotion to the Branch Manager position within the company after showcasing his excellent coordinating and management skills. Rizwan was supported by the company to complete an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care and played a huge part in our mentoring programme for non-experienced staff joining the group. The enhanced knowledge further prompted Rizwan to achieve consistent business growth and continuous operational improvements, this was further evidenced by excellent feedback from local and national regulatory bodies. With experience Rizwan has become commercially astute and has developed greater passion for developing excellent care services. Rizwan’s inspirational leadership style which enables him to effectively lead and motivate teams has led to him being promoted to Care Services Regional Manager in March 2020 and become part of the senior management team at Grosvenor.
Asking Rizwan “what next” his response was –
“I am aspiring to become the next Care Services Director” and what a proud day that will be for us all who have played a part in Rizwan’s journey.
